About

From Inner-city Houston, Dr. Mosadi became a first-generation college student at Texas A&M University at the age of 17, and the road was not an easy one.  Despite a bunch of stumbling blocks and bad decisions, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and a Master’s in Educational Administration with an emphasis in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education (SAAHE). Fourteen years, 2 children, and a divorce later, she started (and 4 years later, completed) a doctoral program at the University of Houston in Administration and Supervision.   Obviously, that was not enough, because eleven years later she earned a Master's degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy.

Dr. Mosadi has and continues to serve in various capacities in the community.  On any given day you can find her sitting on the executive board for a non-profit organization, volunteering for an organization that services at-risk girls or doing community service with her sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho.  On another day you may run across her facilitating workshops and programs that help women to heal, discover purpose and take their lives back.  It is not far-fetched that you may find her picking up trash on the side of the road for a highway clean-up project.  She walks in her purpose by serving others.

Not bad for a first-generation college student who grew up with no parent support or even any knowledge of “how to do college”.  This is what drives her in her service to others.  Dr. Mosadi strives to be the person who plants the seed for what one may not even think  is possible considering their situation. She truly believes that in order to be whole one must take care of themselves mentally, spiritually, emotionally, educationally, and financially.

Wounded to Well Mental Health Services grew out of lived experiences and education, but primarily out of a desire to be the kind of therapist she would love to have.  Direct and kind.  Realistic while empathetic. Guiding while allowing autonomy.
